Vocaleo

Set up OpenClaw

Give your OpenClaw agent the ability to make phone calls through Vocaleo.

Install the Vocaleo skill

  1. Download SKILL.md. Review its instructions before installation.
  2. Find the workspace for the OpenClaw agent that will use Vocaleo.
  3. Create a skills/vocaleo folder in that workspace. Save the downloaded file there as SKILL.md.

If a Vocaleo skill already exists there, review it before you replace it. Keep any changes you still need.

OpenClaw reads skills from its workspace. See the OpenClaw skill guide for custom workspaces and shared hosts.

This installation uses the file from Vocaleo's website. It needs no marketplace account or MCP connection.

Connect your account

Start a new conversation with your agent after installation. Send this message:

Your agent needs an HTTP tool to contact Vocaleo and a secret store that retains your key between sessions.

Give your agent your phone number when it asks. Reply with the verification code from Vocaleo.

Your agent saves the account key securely. Do not paste the key into chat.

After setup, tell your agent whom to call and what to ask. Installation does not place a call.

If your agent cannot keep credentials securely, stop setup until you configure its secret store.

Read the result

Your agent checks the call status and reports the outcome and charge.

If the conversation stops, ask your agent to resume the last Vocaleo call. It uses the saved call reference.

Automatic notices require background tasks on your agent host. The skill alone cannot wake an idle agent.

Call modes and credit

Standard calls cost $0.10 per started minute and need a $4.50 credit reserve. Pro Mode costs $0.15 per started minute and needs a $6.75 credit reserve.

Your agent uses standard mode unless you select Pro Mode for one outbound call. The unused reserve returns after settlement. An errored call returns its full reserve.
